From a brief to a finished video
Make and edit videos from an assistant, a script or your own application. Every video belongs to a workspace project you can also open in the Ghostmotion editor.
What is Ghostmotion, and can I use it through an API?
Ghostmotion is an AI video creation and editing app for teams making launch films, product ads and trailers. Describe a video in a brief, add reference files, review the result and request changes in chat. Developers can use the same workspace through the MCP server or HTTP API. Assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude connect by signing in; scripts and other clients use a workspace API key. Creating and editing uses the workspace’s credits.
Connect through MCP
Give an assistant tools to create videos, follow progress and send edits.
Set up an MCP clientUse the HTTP API
Send a brief, check the run and download the result from your application.
Make your first requestOne workspace, two ways to connect
Assistants you sign in to and API keys share the same permissions, projects and credit limits. You can create a video through MCP and follow its run through HTTP, or continue editing it in Ghostmotion.
Create an API keyStart with the right guide
- ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants connect by signing in, with no key to manage.
- Claude Code setup and Codex setup include ready-to-copy commands.
- General MCP setup works with clients that support Streamable HTTP and bearer-token headers.
- The MCP tool reference and HTTP API reference describe every operation.
